Domain Name Registration

Your domain registrar is the company you pay to reserve the name of your site on the web. They turn things like 208.44.161.180 into www.yourdomain.com.

It may or may not be the same as your hosting company (we recommend your domain registrar is separate from your web hosting).

Popular domain registrars include: NameCheap, GoDaddy, Domain.com, etc.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Details

In addition to your web host login, you should have a separate username, host, and password that allows you to use an FTP program to transfer files to your web host.

If you don't know this information, you can ask your web hosting company where to find it, or I can most likely get to it if you've provided the information above.
